[Delurking again]

Well, OK, I'll try to stick around. I delurked in the delurking thread in October, and I really wanted to talk about SYTYCD, but never quite got up the nerve to contribute. I'm completely addicted to the show, and the final four were my own top choices. Loved them all and would have been happy with any one of them winning, but I was pretty sure Russell would be the one.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I agree Jean (welcome!) except that I didn`t know Russell would win. I truly didn`t know what would happen, which I love about this season.

Oh and that reminds me. Does the fact that we`re starting tryouts right away mean that they`re going back to summer airing and this was kinda a bonus season timing-wise?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY.

We like it when people talk about SYTYCD. I still want to know if there is going to be a tour of this season's people. I think I would go just to see Ellenore and Jakob and Russell.

Yay, Jean A. Welcome to the party.

Jesse, I know you weren't condoning any scenario in which making with the underage nookie occurs. I just clumsily phrased my outrage at the situation. That story just gets creepier and creepier. So he (allegedly) started fooling around with this girl before she was 13 and there were at least 8 counts he could be charged with? Ewww. I do hope ABDC can soldier on, as I love it so. Lil C or Dave Scott would both be acceptable Shane substitutes. Although the thought of Lil C and Lil Mama on the panel together is giving me tortured grammar seizures. Have they started production again? Normally, ABDC launches right after SYTYCD goes off the air. Yet another way that the fall season has messed up everything.

I am wondering if they are going to do a tour, too. They certainly didn't hype it on the show as they've done in years past. It would be a real shame if they didn't get a tour because I'd put this Top 4 up against any other from seasons past and I would love for them to get their moment in the sun.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

ABDC has been lacking a bit in quality here recently so if they start up in the summer I hope they do so with appropriate talent scouts getting solid groups. I actually would now love an all star setup if they could manage it.

Jean - I think SYTYCD is on fastpass.tv as well.

Last year's ABDC crews were tired in the extreme. The fact that the dreadlocked Puerto Rican hoochie group made it all the way to the finale can more than attest to that. But when that show is good, it's really good. And I relish any opportunity to have JC on my tv screen. The fact that he did not become bigger than Timberlake post-NSync is a travesty. Not that I don't love JT, but I was a JC girl from the jump way back when Justin was rocking the bleached blond white man's fro.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

A friend of mine just posted on Facebook that Russell should have been starting his sophmore year at University of the Arts in Philly this fall, for y'all's FYI.
