I'll be sad if either Karen or Noelle goes home before Mollee, Channing or the Fug Princess. That hip hop last night has been sitting less and less well with me as the day's gone by. They were way, way, way over the top, especially FP. She was almost cartoonish, and the angst face was just too much. She has been not nearly the train wreck I thought she'd be, but she's way below Kathryn, Ellenore, Noelle and Karen. I can take FP making top 5 as the fifth on that list instead of Mollee/Channing, but that's as far as it goes.

I'm still blown away by the Legacy/Kathryn Paso. I think it might be my favorite Paso on the show ever. Great choreography and appropriate music (The music ruined Chuy/Sarah). And both of them just got the character of the dance so, so right. And shirtless Legacy. DAMN!

I do think Kevin will go tonight. I'll be sad to lose him because he's so, so pretty. And he's also a decent dancer with a ton of charisma. Too bad that doesn't translate to the stage. Watching him be so tentative up there is painful. I wish he'd just let loose and go full out. If he did, he'd be tremendous. What a missed opportunity for him. If Kevin does go tonight, I actually hope that they don't cut Mollee, because Karen/Nathan would be a disaster. She'd look like his mom out there (and that's not a knock on Karen). I guess I'd rather see her paired with Victor, because I think he has the ability to read more mature and she may be able to pull a better performance quality out of him. I don't think either Bianca or Channing have been really great partners, and I do believe that Victor has more to give than what he's currently been showing.

Because books.

Do they choreograph their own solos? I ask because they seem so uneven -- some of them are fantastic, and while I know they don't have a lot of time out there, some of them seem like nothing more than random hair-flinging and a kick here or there.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I don't know that this is a rule though. If I knew that I were going to be on the show, I'd try to tailor short pieces of longer routines that I knew so that I could pull those out and use them for my DODs if/when necessary. I'm wondering if the rules state that you can't use pieces you've done pre-show. I don't think so because I feel like both Danny and Travis at least did DODs using portions of solos you can find them doing longer versions of on youtube. It never ceases to amaze me that some of these kids pull out the crappiest solos. Especially the contemporary kids (who are the biggest hair flinging offenders). I'm quite certain that most of them have competed and/or gone to dance conventions at some point in their dance careers. Why not just do part of a combination that you were taught at a convention? I mean, maybe they can't, but if it's not against the rules? Why not? It can't be worse than rolling about on the floor, flipping your hair around, raising one leg in an extension as far as it'll go and just leaving it hanging there for seconds on end, running around the stage aimlessly, standing there picking at your clothes or doing the "reach out to the audience" move. Sad for them all.

Another reason to like Ellenore. Short hair. Can't fling it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think the judges were full of shit tonight for one of the people they sent home.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I loved how Nigel made sure to tell us up-front that their decisions are not about the solos, because Karen's was totally for shit.

But also: I don't care if he's never seen a handspring whatever it was, that's NOT DANCING. I mean, seriously. Effing Mollee.

Mollee should be gone, gone, gone. Let's hope for next week, eh?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."
