kat, you know that Heap song is part of a new hip hop song (which is what they danced to). It is sampled repeatedly in this new song. I heard it on the radio and did a double take.

I couldn't believe Russell got the foxtrot again. Do you think they want to get rid of his partner?

I think Kevin is a goner. I wish Mollee would be a goner, because despite the judges praise, she was one of the worst women. Period. That was not good.

Okay, the whole judges in love with Asleigh thing is way beyond me. I recognize Jakob as a good dancer but I haven't connected with either of them in any of their dances.

I love Jakob more than kids love cake. He is just an exquisite dancer. He wasn't great in this hip hop but I didn't expect him to be because . . . well, because I have eyes and I saw him in that Dave Scott piece last week and it wasn't pretty. The Fug Princess was better than she's ever been in this piece, but then again, she hasn't been all that great. Just not being a distraction in a piece is not a good thing.

I just can't even talk about Legacy and Kathryn's Paso yet. No words. I know it wasn't technically perfect, but I so did not care. Totally captivated by that piece. So, yeah. I have a new best of the night. Kathryn was amazing. She murdered that piece. And I will happily take some shirtless Legacy every week now because DAMN!

I'm excited to have a paso to look forward to because so far there's nothing worth keeping on the dvr.

I frikkin' love Travis Wall. He is the truth. The first two dances of the night were underwhelming, but since Russell/Noelle, the show has been on a serious roll. Ellanore, for the first time, I felt like I really saw her and saw what she can do. She was gorgeous. Legs forever, and the feet. I am dying over that toe point. And Nigel was totally on point about the ease of those lifts. Lighter than air, so smooth going in and going out. Ryan continues to surprise me. The child can't do hip hop, but he was just glorious here. His toe point as well, just. I didn't know he had it like that. All that said, that wasn't my favorite Travis piece. Jeanine/Jason still rules all. But that was very, very good. Quite lovely.

Was that Jaime (of Jaime and Hok) choreographing with Travis?

It was Jamie (of Jamie and Hok). She trained at Travis' mom's studio with Travis and Danny. They have danced together for many, many years.

Was I watching the same Nathan/Mollee routine that the judges were? They did not bring it the way that BoomKat wanted it to be broughten, I know. Just not sharp enough, not hard enough. Out of synch in many, many places. They have no chemistry, so Shankdaddy asking them for chemistry is an impossibility. I know they wanted BoomKat to put the fear of god into them and dig some depth out of them, but . . . no. It just did not happen. And the judges twisting themselves into knots to prop these kids. I don't get it. Bleagh. They both sucked ass. I'd send them both home this week. And I'm completely over Nathan. Potential means nothing if you can't deliver.

Hmm, I'd bet Kevin will go home for the boys this week. With Legacy and Russell killing it, he's the expendable hip hop boy. The girls are tougher. Nigel doesn't want to let go of Karen and he has a hard on for Channing, so she probably won't go anywhere. Mollee Should be going home, but due to the ridiculous propping, I think they may not even hit B3 this week. And all the other girls were very, very good this week. So, hmmm, maybe Nigel will cut Karen loose on the thought that she'll never appeal to the young kids set on account of how "sexual" she is. Or maybe he'll get over waiting for Channing to grow a personality if V/C hit B3. It's a tough one.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Should Go Home: Mollee, Kevin
Will Go Home: Karen, Kevin

Yep and yep. That's my feeling as well.
