I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I thought the Globetrotters felt the brothers just elbowed him intentionally and that he was just trying to pass. There was room for there to be a "passing" lane.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It looked pretty narrow to me, but I don't think anyone was intentionally pushed. I think the brothers just have a bad attitude - they've been pissed at the Globetrotters for several legs now, basically for doing well in the race.

Survivor is kicking some ass this season. Hidden idols woo!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Doing well in the race right next to them!

Seriously, the nerve of some people.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

LOVING this season of Survivor. Scheming and game-changing plays and interesting personalities.

Given the previews for next week, I am strongly suspecting that that the brothers are just assholes.

This cannot be said enough. On the whole, I thought both the Globetrotters and the Brothers acted poorly last night, as is often the case in these late leg dust ups where everyone is suffering from KF. But since I like the Globetrotters better and they have so far been purely delightful, I'm more inclined to cut them some slack and think about the long leg, how tired they must have been after playing volleyball in that sticky, nasty mud, how tired they must be generally from being so close to the end, the general attitude they've been getting from Sam and Dan (and even a little from anonymous blond couple) lately, etc. The brothers, on the other hand, have no such store of good will.

I'm so sad to see Pinky and the Brain go. They really had a chance to catch up this leg because that speed bump was the epitome of lame, but alas, they were unsuccessful. I feel like I still don't know anonymous blond couple despite the fact that they have been kicking ass almost the entire race. Miss America was better last night. I cringed when I saw her go in to take the road block, but she came out fine and she took her fair share of turns at the radish shooting. Of course, I'm rooting for a Globetrotters victory, but if one of the other teams won, it wouldn't be a Freddy/Kendra style disaster.

Is anyone watching "Chef Academy?"

I'm thinking that I might not last long...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Not all special tasks are that strenuous or complicated -- remember the "feed the orangutangs" task, for instance? I'm guessing that Speed Bumps are set up as alternate tasks for the entire field if one of the main venues falls through, which it well could when you schedule these things days/weeks in advance.

Matt and Gary should just be happy that their task didn't involve IKEA, which for my money is still one of the more fiendish choices EVER....

The Speed Bumps have never been difficult - they've always been kind of "take a break and enjoy local culture" type things.

This is true, but it seemed that this one was particularly easy. I mean, the pho task that the poker players had to do for their speed bump wound up being super easy, but a lot of that was because one of the players already knew how to make pho. If that hadn't been the case, that task could've taken longer. And at least it required them to navigate the city a little bit more than this task seemed to - and with steaming bowls of food to boot. I'm just saying, "find this bus and sit in it for five minutes" is not that tough.
