It probably says something about this lackluster season that I forgot to tape part one of the FINALE, no? And that I didn't even realize it until I saw all of your posts?
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Kristen, here's my recap:
Irina goes the Express and takes all of their black stuff. Althea goes to a different Express and takes their stuff that isn't black. Carol Hannah is so pissed off about being stuck in a finale with these two idiots that she sticks her head in a toilet. Christopher comes along and accuses Carol Hannah of stealing his "dress throwing up a dress" design, but then finds something beautiful and designs an ntire collection from it that sells a billion. Irina points and laughs. Althea looks vague.
And then Tim Gunn lost his shit and shot them all.
The end.
It happened exactly like that! EXCELLENT RECAP.
Yup, nicely done!
That's how I'm choosing to remember it. Or maybe that was the dream I had after I FELL ASLEEP BECAUSE IT WAS SO FRELLING BORING????
When I'm happy I didn't stop working to watch it? You know something's wrong.
I just don't like any of the clothes. I'd be fine with the designers having zero personality if the clothes were better, but...nsm. I didn't see anything up there that even remotely looked like a runway piece.
Hell, I'd almost prefer Christopher had made it to the finale - at least his fashion disasters were interesting failures.
And then Tim Gunn lost his shit and shot them all.
Oh, that's much better than La Nina having dreamed it all because this way, we'd never again have to be bothered with Irina, Althea, or Dr. Whitfield ever again. Although poor Carole Hannah really is mostly harmless and inoffensive. There's a reason why Aims is the Empress.
Holy crap, I think I know what I'm going to do for a living -- Boston would love a Saunabus in the winter!
