Because books.

The opening number was awesome.

But what crawled up Nigel's ass tonight? I thought a couple of the solos were great -- Ryan and Peter and Pauline, especially.

opening number was good.

Ryan should not have worn a shirt, but I am not mad at the tight pants. If he's in the botton again (and I think that he will be), he should do a latin thing, with the shirt open to his navel, if he wears a shirt at all.

Because books.

Oh, the Alvin Ailey dancers were also phenomenal, I meant to say. Such precision.

I'm bummed about the cuts.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Watching the solos, I really thought it would be Kevin.

Also, looking at the bottom three women made me sad that America apparently only likes white women....

Kevin and Ryan are too popular. Ryan's abs and Kevin's awesomeness were no match.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Yeah, that really struck me, too, Jesse.

Damn teenagers! The wrong people were in the bottom.

though, I will admit that the quick-step was meh for me, even if it wasn't the usual train-wreck.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Ryan's chest is awesome, but his face not so much. He does need to pop open his shirt in future solos.

I thought Nigel's comments were far harsher than they needed to be. I liked the solos except for the 2 who went home. I thought the woman especially had CLEARLY the worst solo.

That Dave Scott opening group number was awesome. And Russell. Wow! Russell crushed it. I thought it was hilarious that Dave Scott kept Ryan off the stage for almost the entire dance and then let him do about a step and a half (which he looked horrible doing, btw) and then made him walk to the back of the stage. That boy just cannot do hip hop, I swear y'all.

Frikkin' Disney Channel watching, Josh Beiber listening, no taste having tweens. Kevin/Karen in B3 rather than Mollee/Nathan is criminal. Kevin better not go home. If it's not Peter, I'm gonna be pissed.

Before the solos, I would've pegged Ellenore for the boot this week, but Pauline's solo was a hot mess of hair flinging and booty shaking. Nightmare. So now I'm not sure. Nigel was so pissed that Mollee and Nathan escaped the bottom that there's no way he'd let Karen go even if she came out there and just stood in the middle of the floor for 30 seconds.

And speaking of the Nigel smackdown, I frikkin' loved it. It so, so needed to be said. That attitude Nathan busted out at the end of judging last night was ugly, and looking all abashed now is not helping. He was crushed because he got called on his stank attitude, not because of the attitude itself. Boo. Poorly done. I do still like him and still think he's a hell of a dancer, but I'm glad Nigel busted out the bad daddy on him. It also makes me feel tons better about Kevin's ability to survive the week.
