I definitely liked the non-Tasty Broadway dude, if only because he was...non-Tasty. And I was kinda with the judges on Kathryn, but also am not sure how much more she could've done, really. And I am surprised how much I'm liking Legacy.

And I wasn't saying that Ellenore was GREAT, but just better. :)

Loving Russell.

I can't wait to see who gets voted for, though.

My thoughts on tonight's show. I really have no idea who might be going home and I don't like it. I hope it's Mollee and Peter, but I don't see Mollee going any time soon, and I don't think Nigel wants to throw all three tappers out before top 10. If it's any of my top guys (Russell, Jakob, Legacy, Kevin), there will be blood.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The choreographer of Russell and Noell's routine is a main choreo for SYTYCD Canada. He came up with some wonderful routines in the most recent past season. He usually is pretty consistent and very good.

I am seriously in love with Jakob now, if I wasn't before. Not only can he dance amazingly well, but, well, whatever wrongs the costumers have done in the past are forgiven after that gorgeous 60s-style suit of his! He was smoking hot in that number. (And I just laughed when I realized that they edited out any reference to the word "come" in the song.)

I think that Ashleigh would have been better off partnering with Legacy this week--she might have gotten into the character better than Kathryn did. Legacy actually outperformed Kathryn last night, IMO, even though she was better technically (of course). I'm still waiting to see how he'll mangle a ballroom dance, though.

Kevin did impress me a bit with his jete and some of his lines, but he has gotten into a "ohmygodohmygod" fear of any kind of partnering moves (Nigel was right about the look in his eyes before the death drop) and it was really awkward to watch. Karen was good, but I was so distracted by him that I didn't pay too much attention to her.

Russell! RussellRussellRussell!! That is all.

B3 for me were Peter/Pauline, Ryan/Ellenore, and Mollee/Nathan. I do fear the power of the texting skills of the teenyboppers because those last two should be long gone, at least Mollee should. Compare her version of "sexy" to Karen. Not even five or ten more years will make Mollee sexy, so it isn't just a maturity issue.

I actually thought Kevin and Karen are likely bottom 3, and deservedly so. I could lose Kevin without much pain (don't hit me, Kat!) partly because I feel like he is interested more in fame than in dance. He feels like a poser to me. And ditto on Ryan, whose true famewhoredom is revealed as we learn that he wants to parlay this gig into film action hero stardom. Yawn.

Best numbers were Jakob and Russell. There were a lot of numbers that had charm but limited danciness (Peter and Pauline, Legacy and Kathryn.) I was disappointed in Channing and Victor not because there was anything wrong with it - it was well-choreographed and well-danced, but because it didn't stand out at all.

I could happily lose Ryan, Peter, Victor, or Kevin, and Channing, Pauline, Mollee. (I'd be fine losing Noelle or Ashleigh, too, but there's no chance they'll be B3.) Really, the only possible elim I see that would make me sad right now is Ellenore.

Best line of the night goes to Shankman (of course), for "When I think African Princess there's just one name on the list: Noelle."

Oh, also, not only do I like Sean Cheeseman as a choreographer, and he has an awesome name, but he's hot, too!

I would never hit flea for she is fantastic.

I do enjoy Kevin, though. He's so pretty, first off, and that counts a lot in my book. Amazingly, he has fallen below Legacy in the hip hop triumvirate, which I never thought would happen. But to really make the call, I'm going to have to see Legacy bust out some ballroom. I just think this week if Kevin hits B3 with Peter and Ryan, it would be a shame to see him go home before the last tapper standing or the ballroom stud. For me, Kevin, Ryan and Peter are all very similar. Cute guys, lots of personal charisma. Very good in their own styles, limited outside of their comfort zones. Kevin is just more interesting for me. Ryan is a famewhore in dancers clothing and I don't like it. At the same time, he's the only ballroom boy left, and they haven't had a good shirt taker-offer in a really long time, since Pasha in S4. So I can't see the judges sending him home this week. As for Peter, well, there's something slightly smarmy about Peter. And the staged class with the kids with identified special needs like he was some tapping Sally Struthers made me furious. Fool, please. He rubs me all the wrong way. So that's why I'll be really sad if Kevin is sacrificed this week to keep Peter around and keep egg off of Nigel's face, since he did label this "The Year of the Tapper" and all. If Kevin lasts through this week, I'd probably be OK with losing him soon thereafter because of the three hip hop guys left, he's my least favorite.

I would like to nominate Russell in the shirt-taking-off category. That was not bad, eh? I don't think we've seen Legacy shirtless yet, but I suspect he has potential too.

(Oh, god, now I am dying to see Legacy and Kathryn do a samba or something, with him in cuban heels and a shirt cut to his navel. It could be great or horrifyingly bad!)

Well, Legacy was in that half-ripped caveman outfit on week 1--definite potential there!

Yeah, I meant a good ballroom shirt taker-offer. Luckily, we have lots of eye candy this season, and I'm totally on board with forming Fans For a Naked (Russell/Legacy/Kevin). Sign me up. I don't really get the urge to see Jakob stripped down, although I'm sure he'd be lovely. And Nathan, well, that just feels like kiddie porn. But the show hasn't had a sexy ballroom, shirt off all the time, hot damn boy in a minute. Dmitri is the prototype. Then Pasha came along, but the past couple of seasons the pickings have been mighty slim. There was that old looking dude, Kayla's original partner from last season, who just could not fill the hot ballroom boy bill. And then there was that one pasty kid. He was a little bit thick, too, for a dancer. And the show claimed he was a latin ballroom specialist, but I swear I didn't see it. He may have been Karla's first partner last season. Or I may be totally making that up. But what I'm saying is that there has been a severe shortage of ballroom male hotness on the show of late, and they finally have a real, live hot boy in Ryan. So I think the judges would be very reluctant to give that up.
