Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It does seem like there's no one in their early-mid 20s -- they are all 18-20, except for the four or five who are like 28.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I wonder if that's a factor of normal career progression - the young'uns are just starting out and looking for a leg up, while the older ones are looking for a final(ish) shot at breaking through. The dancers in their twenties may be out there trying to build their careers without the gimmickry.

Oh, interesting thought.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Got interrupted last night, watching my recording this morning. Had to pause after the foxtrot to exclaim over Russell. I just love him.

Mmm, Victor. Mmm.

That little bit where Victor was walking while Bianca was doing rolls along the floor trying to hold on to his leg? Was so, so lovely.

Oh dear lord, yes, that was beautiful.

Ellenore, still delightful. It's hard to believe she's only 19, she seems so fully realized.

Eta: and I liked that Sonya piece so much better than the one last week.

Man, I was all set to hate Kathryn after all that crying, but that was great.

I'm surprised by all the praise for the disco, I didn't think it really worked. Some of the lifts they nailed, but they botched at least one, I thought, though they covered nicely.

Damn, Russell! I can't even tell why that solo was amazing, but it sure was.

Poor Brandon. They should've brought him in as a special guest to partner Pauline this week, not pretended he really had a shot to go on for the rest of the season. Or just put Russell and Pauline together and no judges elimination this week.

God I hate it when they criticize the dancers for not showing personality of charisma or whatever. Surely that would come out in the voting. I like Ariana even more for how she handled getting eliminated first.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just really hope that if they can change the rules for Brandon (and they should) they will also change them for Billy, even if that means they have to change them for Noelle.
