Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I was happy with many of the choices on SYTYCD, but that's probably due to the fact that they didn't spend too much time on backstory for those who were cut. Loved the Phillip Attmore made it--we didn't see anything of him in Vegas, and I worried that I'd missed him being cut during the week.

And, Russell made it!! Love him soooo much already!

Mollie can go home first week. Even my mom, who's visiting and so was watching the tv with me but has never seen the show before, couldn't help but comment on the fact that she looks so young. Unless she can bring more maturity to the stage, so long, honey.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Top Chef - I would really, really, just once, like to see a RW with a woman in front of house that doesn't lose her mind and freak the fuck out. As soon as Laurine said she was running FoH, I knew it was gonna be her.

Because books.

I'm trying to remember who else has done front of the house aside from Radhika.

The longer I think about it, the more the fact that Jen and Kevin and Mike I. decided to do both of each course's dishes seems so ridiculously stupid. Kevin looked really baffled when Tom asked how it didn't occur to any of them that that was going to backfire.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's a lot of pressure, and a role that I really wouldn't like to do, but for fuck's sake. Either recognize that you aren't the best person for that job which has always been somebody's downfall.

Granted, I haven't watched all of the season's but has anyone gone home from RW because of the food? I only remember the FoH people leaving.

Because books.

I think Dale went home for food.

I definitely couldn't do front of house. Hell, I couldn't even waitress. I would be a spectacular failure.

Oh, god, I haven't watched SYTYCD yet, but Ashleigh the married ballroom dancer made it in. I HATE that chick. Let's hope she goes home early.

Lotsa people we haven't seen yet, but MY RUSSELL I LOVES HIM.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Granted, I haven't watched all of the season's but has anyone gone home from RW because of the food? I only remember the FoH people leaving.

It was traumatic when Tre got axed for being the leader of the losing RW team in Season 3 -- he was obviously one of the best chefs in the bunch.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I thought that was fucked up, but his beet soup/sauce was apparently vile.

Art Crawl!!!

See when Jen was the team captain I thought that she would be expediting the way she expedited that time she won the quickfire - she should have rocked it.

Apparently, Team Red benefited from M.V.'s dictatorish tendencies.
