Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Tom Tom and the other GPS companies really should buy a sponsorship for one episode where they have the use of one to navigate by -- showing off how easy(er) it makes it.

That would be a product placement I could get behind! Really, anything that gets them OUT OF THE FRACKING TAXIS.

If I had to guess, though, I'd say the state of the auto industry is making it harder to get free cars for the teams to drive these days.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, reading the thread for episode one over on TWOP somebody commented on the Poker Players being recognized - that they couldn't even bluff their way out of that. Seriously. And yet, they really thought that they could bluff their way through their entire run on the race?

Thrive to spite them

Did anyone watch the Next Iron Chef premiere?

Oh my, it's the Battle of the Blades results show! They're recapping things that I missed, so yay! This is soooo Canadian cheesy, eh!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha, Abby, that's awesome! That's totally a show I would watch. Who are some of the hockey players? People I would know?

TAR: OMG, why, lawyers! Also, hilarious at them rushing madly around waving a bullet at people. I really hope there's some producer with a translator trailing around after them to explain them to the bemused locals. I would be so alarmed if someone rushed up to me and pushed a bullet into my hand.

It didn't seem like the losing couple took that long at their challenge, although maybe it was the edit. And I was surprised they didn't ask someone sooner about the word.

I would so watch Battle of the Blades.

Dancing With the Stars: Tom Delay needs to stop shaking his hips. Immediately.

BOTB:

Claude Lemieux & Shae-Lynn Bourne

Glenn Anderson & Isabelle Brasseur

Stephane Richer & Marie-France Debruil

Tie Domi & Christine Hough-Sweeney

Ken Daneyko & Jodeyne Higgins

Craig Simson & Jamie Sale

Ron Duguay & Barb Underhill

Bob Probert & Kristine Lenko (out)

I only really recognize Tie Domi and I don't know all the figure skaters even, but the big hockey players and the little figure skaters are pretty hilarious.

Edited for format

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Oh my stars! I love Shae-Lynn Bourne. She's my automatic pick for the winner. I don't know any of the hockey players, but they got a good crop of skaters. Much better than what turned up on Skating with the Stars or whatever that show was called where Llyod Eisler got with Kristy Swanson.

DWTS: So, I don't watch this show, but they had Paula Abdul in the audience tonight, and as Paula goes, so goes my nation. Great googly moogly. I will never recover from Tom DeLay shaking his red pants clad hips. That ain't right.

ETA: And I wasn't even trying to numberslut!
