I don't see how performance shows can only be an hour in the early rounds when there are 20 contestants.

So is it coming on tonight and Wednesday this week or only tonight? And if not tomorrow, then what's coming on before Glee?

It's on tonight and tomorrow--Auditions #4 and #5, according to my tv description.

Because books.

TVGuide.com shows it new tomorrow at eight, before Glee, as usual.

I hope one of the slots each week is Tuesday. I don't have anything on Tuesdays!

Hmm. TVGuide is also showing Top Chef as a rerun of the Penn and Teller episode tomorrow night. Bummer.

I'm betting it'll definitely be Tues/Wed, but I still don't see how hour long performance shows can even work when you have to get through all 10 couples. Unless they cut all the fluff - all the rehearsal footage, all the comments when Cat kicks it to commercial, much of the judges feedback. That might not be so bad, actually, but I doubt they'd ever do it. What comes on Fox Tuesdays at 9:00 normally?

I think Hell's Kitchen may be winding down? So maybe it'll be over to coincide with when auditions are over on SYTYCD?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

HK needs to wind down. It is a terrible show. I'm ashamed that I still watch it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

TAR: Sushi Roulette may have been the best food challenge EVER. Not sick-making quantities, no hours of trying to finish, fun format, and a game show audience -- plus followed immediately by playing tour guide where you don't know where you're going.

Herding ducks was awesome, and at about the same level of difficulty as herding cats, really.

I'm feeling sorry for the yoga instructors, because they should have had the physical fitness needed to stay the course, which helps in the long run a whole lot. At least one of the screechy couples got knocked out.

LOVED Pinky and the Brain, the older couple, and the best friends. And actual Harlem Globetrotters! (I still miss the Clowns!) Want to kill the 'lawyer' who indeed doesn't seem all that bright.

Poker girls were not great players -- showing off some poor directional skills, plus they LOST some of their tourists. They got way lucky when it turned out they knew how to make pho/bao/whatever soup and had Actual Duck Experience, but that's the luck of the draw sometimes. I don't expect I'll be rooting for them to go all the way.

Good move on hiring the bus to leave early, because that caught the second group up -- as it turned out, they could have saved their money, since it turned out their destination was to a bunch point and all-night vigil, but still, you don't know when those are going to occur.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yeah, but reading the clue almost always helps more.

kat perez, I was just reading your blog entry about last night's ep (so fun and so spot on, as usual!), and you nailed it with regards to Billy Bell being another Curt from Glee!! I knew he reminded me of someone. If he can just keep that swayback under control (like Nigel said, that's something he should have already gotten rid of if he's listened to his instructors), he'd be a gorgeous dancer and a sure thing for Top 20. Amazing lines.
