I like the gay brothers and the 2 friends where one has Asbergers, and the father son team.

These are my favorites.

I'm already tired of the weight-lifting lawyer and the poker chicks. Too many screechy couples again.

Yes. I hated Tiffany Michelle at the World Series of Poker and she hasn't improved here. I was happy to see their stupid story didn't last long. I knew somebody would eventually recognize her.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

ABDC:

I'm still salty that We Are Heroes got Madonna's Vogue performance as their iconic VMA moment to recreate the week after VE was voted off. Really, show? Really? Way to kick a queen when she's down.

I KNOW!

But yeah, all that being said, given the choices I'm glad that Heroes won. I agree that those shouldn't have been the final two, though. I would have put Rhythm City and probably Massive Monkeys in there.

TAR: Yay, TAR! I can die happy now that I've seen Harlem Globetrotters herding geese across a bridge.

That wasabi challenge was mad! That was a dang lot of wasabi. I was shouting to the SO in the other room that whole scene. I would have rocked that challenge, though. I would have been all, okay, this is my food challenge! I mean, c'mon, free sushi!

I would not have rocked the next bit, though. I would definitely have been lost. It's kinda crazy to have them in an Asian country right away where they can't even get contextual clues from the alphabets. But I am lousy at big crowd navigation like that.

Glad the poker chicks got seen through right away. "I know exactly who you are." Hee.

It's early to know who I'll like, but it's clear who I don't, and all of them were up for elimination at some point during this show, so good on the show. It's just too bad which leg turned out to be non-elim.

Oh, and re: couple knocked out. Dontcha just love it when the guy spends the whole leg talking about how his partner has a short temper, which we did not see, and then totally explodes with the mad himself? Ah, irony.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

A thought on "DwtS":

Just remember kids: a vote for Kathy Ireland is a vote against Tom DeLay. They both suck, but which one do you want on your TV screen next week?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I loved We Are Heroes They set the stage on fire. LITERALLY! I could not have loved them more in that moment.

I HATED AfroBorike. I thought that their moves were misogynistic, and I hate all non African Americans with dreadlocks. And he had the nerve to dye them blonde! And not touch up the roots.

I lost some respect for Shane for complimenting the hateful "hold the girls by the back of the neck and grind on them" move.

Yeah, but consider the source -- Shane, who never saw a woman shaking her ass in his face that he didn't drool over.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Is Top Chef a rerun this week? It looks like it from when I tried to find it to record this week. If so, anyone know why?

I think that is the regular time slot for this fall, no?
