If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Wasabi roulette was the best thing EVER.

I kind of miss the yoga instructors though. They seemed like they would be good for mocking.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Eat the wasabi!

That might've been the best first episode of a reality TV season ever. I am enjoying Pinky and the Brain and the zen duck master. I hope that they do well. Ms. America and her husband are alternately kind of OK and kind of shrill and annoying. We'll have to wait and see. Instant hate for the poker girls, although I will give it up to them for coming back like champs. I also hate the loud lawyer and his lady friend. They can go home any minute now. Everyone else is a blur. Oh, wait. I like the gay kids thus far.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Their story was funny, at least: "Hey, bro, I got something to tell you..." "Dude, me too!"

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The duck-herding challenge was so far beyond awesome. I'm glad I have it on DVD so I can watch it again WHENEVER I WANT.

The poker girls - whenever anyone says "I can't let them know I'm a XXXXX because they'll know I have a huge advantage" I always have to wonder exactly what show they think they're on. Because unless you're a championship hiker who moonlights as a travel agent, I'm really not sure there's any set of job-related skills that's going to help you in this game beyond *very* specific challenges. Dudes, you're good at poker. Yay you. Now shut up and play TAR.

So much this!!! That and the usual female team strategy of "we'll bat our eyes at them and get our way," which never works, especially as a way to get a jump on the opposing teams. I mean, have these people actually watched the show in the past?

I wonder if they got to Vietnam in the middle of monsoon season, and if so, if they're going to have problems with the rain as long as they stay in S/SE Asia (please tell me they're going to go to India--I love it when they have their usual meltdowns there).

I missed the first 1.5 hours of TAR. Must get TIVO set correctly. What are my chances of finding it online?

Instead, I was watching the finals of ABDC. Of the final two, I'm happy with the results, but I think that was the wrong final two.

ABDC: I definitely think the right team won! I've loved them since the first ep, and thought that they were one of the strongest teams from the start.

Who do you think should have been the final two, Suzi?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was really glad they won! And still kind of shocked that Afroborike made it to the finals. Was there was some untapped audience of people who don't like hip-hop? Because I didn't think they were all that good, even without the gender stuff.
