I ADORE the krumper Russell. It was a crime they made him do choreography.

I actually kind of liked the latin ballroom smarmy guy, Gene. His smarm mostly came off as "omg I am terrified" to me; hopefully he can get over it, because he can really dance.

I kind of wanted to hit Tyce by the end of the show, and I'm really not a very violent person.

I actually kind of liked the latin ballroom smarmy guy, Gene.

He impressed me by doing his audition solo, and doing a great solo. And his reaction when he ripped his number was funny.

Even fast forwarding through the judges as much as I do, which is a lot, Tyce was annoying me. I never need to hear him talk again.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Russell was fucking awesome. I'm so glad so many here agree. I don't think I have ever seen the krump done that well on SYTYCD before. I mean that was some mean ass shit. It was buck for all the right reasons.

If I just cut out all of his Tom Jones/sex machine bullshit, Gene was spectacular. And I agree that I think a lot of that may have been nervous energy mixed with a heaping helping of trying way too hard. But I fear for him because he does have some really annoying ballroom dance ticks. He does the mugging thing that Benji used to do in S2 and it annoyed me about Benji just as much. I get that the whole over the top facials are a part of ballroom dance culture, at least in the big competitions, but it is so annoying when it goes so far over the top like in Gene's case. He comes off fake and desparate, as the judges noted. I hope he can break out of that because he is a beautiful dancer and his solo was hot. One of the better ones I've seen from a ballroom dancer. It certainly beat Pasha dancing around a dress frame.

I love how much y'all love Russell and I hope we are not all jinxing him because I really, really want him to make the show. His solo was insane!

Because books.

It was great. Just ... below the eyebrows.

Russell, too. I was amazed they sent him to choreography.

Because books.

Project Runway surprised me. For one, I don't remember them ever doing a challenge like that before. Very cool idea.

I honestly thought Christopher or Epperson was going to win, and liked their dresses much more than Nicholas's, because either of those could show up on a runway right now, whereas Nicholas's was strictly a costume for me.

I was also surprised they sent Ra'Mon home, since the costume designer seemed willing to give him some wiggle room for ambition. But that thing was a mess, so.

I agree. I loved Epperson's dress. I thought it would have fit in perfectly in the Firefly verse.

I was also surprised they sent Ra'Mon home, since the costume designer seemed willing to give him some wiggle room for ambition. But that thing was a mess, so.

I thought the boring flapper dress designer should have gone home.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

No one says "tor-TILL-a."

Actually, I've heard this and other atrocities against the Spanish language in England before.

Also, on "Models of the Runway": Weep not for Fatima. Leaving the show just gives her time to locate Logan's home address so she can set up binocular perches and hidden cameras. She'll be starring in the next PR spinoff, "Stalkers of the Runway."

I thought Epperson's dress was by far the best. I actually didn't care for Nicholas' dress at all. It reminded me of his "make a pretty dress for the models to go to an industry party" dress. But I'm thinking maybe he won because Epperson's and Christopher's were not costume-y enough for the costume designers.

Ra'Mon's dress was really a hot mess. And he's sent questionable work down the runway a couple of times. He seems like a sweetie and it was nice to see Tim not overcome with outrage this week, but . . . yeah. He needed to go. I want to know why Heidi has such a hate on for Gordana. Her flapper dress wasn't that original, but it was gorgeous and well made. Heidi just really seems to hate her.

And Michael will be back next week. Yay! I have missed him and Nina so much.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Heidi just really seems to hate her.

maybe it's some european thing. or that her clothes are well made, but boring. I was very torn about Ra'mon and Louise, because I like them both, but I wanted Ra'mon to stay. I had hoped that his taking chances and clear vision would push him over.

I think that Louise's comment about being on the runway to be judged was helpful to her case. Ra'mon had a lot more feedback to work with, both good and bad

I really liked Epperson's dress. It was costume, but still fashion. it completely fit the challenge and looked fun and interesting. Of course, I dislike Nathaniel, so that could have something to do with why I didn't want him to win. I thought his costume was kind of boring, though pretty enough, I suppose.
