I think Nigel went overboard in his criticism of Evan
this. though i think ALL the judges were a little too hypercritical of him all night, which is why the crowd stood up and started chanting Evan's name. i like Evan. i think he's a great dancer. i DON'T think he should win, but their comments last night were downright nasty and if i DID want him to win, i would have voted my ass off for him just because of that.
I like how Adam brought up that Evan reused part of his audition solo and never said a peep about Brandon. bias, let me show you it.
did he (Brandon) reuse part of his audition solo last night tho? I thought that was Adam's point, not that they haven't all done it before.
he completely and totally did.
I think that's why Jeanine's solo stood out for me. She incorporated the stuff she does well (those pirouettes) and the standard high kicks and jetes but in a different style. Kayla's just looked like the same ol' shit, different day.
okay...so i just went back and rewatched and it's more like a mash-up of his season 4 AND season 5 auditions.

Without a doubt hers seemed the least frenetic and desperate. Very controlled and overall very awesome. I really hope she wins. She is my favorite, with Brandon a close second.
Restaurants are pretty difficult, though.
I would think film sets would be tough too, especially the indy ones she seems to work on the majority of the time.
I agree. He really rubbed me the wrong way in his first episode, but since he's shown so much respect to the other chefs, he has won me over. He can't be that big of an asshole and be liked by the other chefs and like the other chefs so much.
This. Asking Keller if he needed help sealed it.
Overall, I was in love with the chefs last night, except Art. Given the histories of the other chefs, Art was definitely at a disadvantage, but, since I think he was completely out of his league anyway, I didn't care.
I'm just finding Anita a little blah to watch. She is so low-energy, which must be calming in her kitchen, but she's not making great TV for me.
