So far, quote deathmatch.
All Ogle, No Cash -- It's Not Just Annoying, It's Un-American
Discussion of episodes currently airing in Un-American locations (anything that's aired in Australia is fair game), as well as anything else the Un-Americans feel like talking about or we feel like asking them. Please use the show discussion threads for any current-season discussion.

Well, I'm hoping thems over in the main Buffy thread have worked out some good survival techniques for Afterwards.
I suppose they're dusting off the flags for July 4 right now.
Hey, where is everybody?
Freezing cold here, snow on the hills all around. Settling in for the afternoon to finally watch the original Buffy movie. Hard to believe someone else could be La Buff. Hope it's not too awful.
It is far too awful.
Embrace the awful.
It is far too awful.
Yes, but it does have the best death scene ever, with a Paul Reubens bonus prize.
Ken is very correct. That was my only lasting impression of the movie.
That was my only lasting impression of the movie.
That and "Kill him, a lot!", which is also part of the Paul Reubens bonus prize.
That was my only lasting impression of the movie.
It does tend to bring out the Teflon part of your brain. I've seen it two or three times and I remember very little except for the Yellow Jacket of Shallow Friendship and the hideous marshmallow that is her prom dress.
Is the movie considered to be canon? I've never thought of it that way but what's the general consensus?
I don't think so, not really. I mean I haven't seen it but there's stuff in it that doesn't line up with original version, if I'm remembering correctly. Like Buffy's age, and the freaky 'menstrual cramps as a vamp detection system' thing.
And Buffy never includes Luke "My Valuable Face!" Perry when she talks about how many guys she's dated.
Now I want to see the movie again and see what fits and what doesn't.
