isn't Turkey technically Europe?
I believe that half of Turkey is in Europe, and half is in the Middle East. But I failed Geography, so I may be talking out of my arse here.
You get to give, er, I think it's 1 point, 2 points, 4 points, 6 points, 8 points, 10 points and 12 points. I think. Or something like that.
Okay, so it's not some 11-is-a-bad-number thing then.
Wasn't it the Wolverhampton Wanderers?
...who beat Leceister (sp?), 3-1.
Karl Marx: OH SHIT!!!! (in at least one version)
Go me for remembering here at work!
Most of Turkey is in Asia, geographically (as is all of the Middle East up until Egypt, so go Team Fay's arse!), though the bits across the Bosphorus are in Europe. Turkey wants very much to be in Europe (the EU) but that's another matter.
Huh. I can't remember from RISK or HISTORY OF THE WORLD but I always assumed that since Turkey was in DIPLOMACY it was European. Granted so's Russia, and that starddles both continents. Actually, what is Russia considered: European, Asian or just both?
I'd have gone with both, I think, for Russia. Mostly in Europe, but sidling into Asia.
so so so tempted to take Go Team Fay's Arse for my tagline....
A friend from Turkey told me that it was half in Europe, half in Asia - he lived in the Asian half. So among his circle, anyway, that was how they consided it to be divided.
America wishes it could see you too, Nilly. And if you do come here, we'll help you find All-American, yet kosher, things. So you don't have to miss stuff.
