Uh, I don't suppose now would be a good time to mention that they all taste the same anyway, so a little judicious eye-closing fixes all your problems! That said, those pink, aqua and purple M&M's they were trialing a while back were an abomination in the eyes of God. Also? They made Baby Jesus cry.

Brown is the army of bland. I could, however, totally see yellow as their evil, wily leader.

Brown is not an army. Brown is... brown is trees. Like Ents. With the green ones, which are Hurouns, they form an army, but it's fighting on the side of good. Never would they go over to your evil yellow Saruman!

Edit: yellow Smarties, on the other hand, are the food of the gods. And should always be eaten between two pink ones.

Brown is not an army.

I'm sorry, I have to see them as an army. They have to be the footsoldiers of the M&M services, because there's just too damned many of them for me to be comfortable with them wielding any other power.

I'm okay with agreeing that they are bland and indifferent and can go either the way of good or the way of evil. They just need a firm hand!

sorry. weilding I could live with. but poower just sounds too much like the effect of too many brown Ms.

And you suggest Evil Yellow, while I see Wonderful Green as having arrived first. That's okay; all that's happened is that you see a different balance of power.

Green will triamph in the end.

When he will bow down and recognise Blue as the OTM :)

Red Smarties are best.

That is all.

If we're pairing LOTR characters with their appropriate M&M colour, then we should all agree that red is the colour of pure evil. Big flaming yoni, my ass - it's the red M&M of evil, people!

Edited to add:

Now I'm visualising red/yellow M&M slash, Julie. Thanks a freakin lot.

Red = Evil, yup.

That's why Red Smarties are best.

Except when I start doing that from the beginning, I get a yellow M&M saying "I'm the prettiest."

No! Legolas is not evil!
