Here are chats with the participants of Manor House. I guess the show was cut differently for American audiences. It would be interesting to compare the two.
All Ogle, No Cash -- It's Not Just Annoying, It's Un-American
Discussion of episodes currently airing in Un-American locations (anything that's aired in Australia is fair game), as well as anything else the Un-Americans feel like talking about or we feel like asking them. Please use the show discussion threads for any current-season discussion.

caught up fulfilling my civic responsibilities and learning that the only people that end up on juries are those that are too stupid to get out of them.
What's jury duty like, Julie? I don't know whether to be pleased or not that (according to my seminar tutor) I now officially know too much about the law *cough*bullshit*cough* to be called for jury duty. Though I don't think it still applies if I never complete my degree.
Wait! They're making a Regency House? Wonder how far back in time they'll go eventually?
Elizabethan House? 12th Century House? Roman Britain House?

Cave
In one of the chats they talk about how the first show of this ilk they did was "Surviving the Iron Age".
Neanderthal cave? No, wait--they did that and called it Big Brother, my mistake.
Edit: damnit--that's what I get for checking the spelling of Neanderthal.
Ooh! Jondalar!
Amych beat me to it!
surviving the iron age was shite. They let them have proper food because of a little bit of the runs.
Yeah, as far as I'm concerned it's not a historical reality show until people start exhibiting symptoms of diseases common to the period in question.
