I'm torn between being hopeful about a hockey-set m/m romance series hitting multiple interests for me and shuddering at the memory of the relationship dynamics in a lot of slash fanfic I've read. Man, you were right, Jess, this is a great adaptation! I'm glad I went right from reading to watching so the text is fresh in my head because it is kind of astounding how faithful it's managing to be
Also impressive how very clear it is exactly what is happening just off-screen or otherwise out of sight. Wow.

I'm taking it on faith that the timeline changes will work out in the end, but what I was most worried about was getting the characters and their relationship dynamic right and everyone involved is absolutely nailing it.
