I'm sad we won't get to see more of Cissy since she got so interesting the last couple of episodes. I liked her as supreme ball-buster matriarch but I love her as the woman so afraid of not maintaining control of herself that she has to simultaneously push everyone around her away yet keep them close enough for her to try to control them, too, because every one of their mistakes are hers.
I don't know what a better actor would have done with Shaun's role. The stylized dialog didn't bother me, though I did sometimes just tune it out.
I like the direction Entourage is going with Eric.

HBO and David Milch are prepping what could be the scribe's next project, and it's a return to familiar territory: the realm of New York City cops.
Sources said the creator will develop the project about a Vietnam veteran who returns to the U.S. in the early 1970s and joins the New York City police force. Story is loosely based on the experience of longtime Milch collaborator and fellow "NYPD Blue" exec producer Bill Clark, who is developing the show with Milch.

If this happens, it sounds really Milch-y. And if it means no Deadwood movies... no more Deadwood sucks, but I have a deep and abiding distrust of reunion specials. coughSerenitycough
Hm. Much as I love procedurals in general, I never liked NYPD Blue. And the 70s is not a period I'm dying to see onscreen. But I'll probably watch it.
I'll definitely watch. The 70s in the NYPD is a very interesting time period. (I keep waiting for my stepdad to finish writing his book so I can turn it into a teevee show.) I just hope I like it more than JFC.
Hey, Flight of the Conchords was renewed! My love for that show has grown and grown to an unhealthy obsession of watching at least an episode a night. But I am thinking writing another season's worth of songs means the show will be on a Sopranos-esque torture schedule of reappearances, i.e., every 24 months or something like that.
