You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

so happy belated to you too!!

Thank you!

OnTopic (barely): I just started a new online class on the 20th, and people have started putting up their "self-intro" posts. The first one I replied to was a girl recommending that everyone watch Veronica Mars. Hated to burst her bubble, but couldn't believe she hadn't heard about the cancelllation. I pointed out that they'll have to watch on DVD. I did mention the (is it 100% certain?) upcoming comics to give her some hope - lest you all think I'm a puppy-kicker.

What is even happening?

Happy (belated) birthday to tiggy and Epic, from me. You can tell it's an authentic Cindy wish, when it's a day late and a dollar short.

What is even happening?

Chris Lowell Pictures at A Socialite's Life, including a tushie shot, which I just wasn't expecting. [link]

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Whoa! That's big news. I wonder why there were no rumors about that before.

And, hey, Sophia Myles too. Interesting.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Sophia Myles and Jason Dohring might enliven the show a bit, but as long as they keep that dreadful actor who plays the lead, I think the show is as good as cooked.

The CBS fall preview page: [link] (click on the rectangle "Moonlight" to play) The flat nasal monologue, the trite dialog, the embarrassing acting, the clichés... I don't know if it makes me laugh or cringe. Poor JDoh. He needs a better vehicle than that.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Between Greenwalt, Myles and Dohring I think this show now has a shot at being good.
