Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

What is even happening?

Once in a while, if a show's ratings aren't that good, a network burns off the episodes during a non-sweeps period, supposedly to "save" the show. I think Angel might have done this one season. I think Joan of Arcadia did this in its second season.

Look! Pyramids!

I don't think that the finale has been scheduled yet. As far as I know, UPN has only planned their airing schedule throught the end of February sweeps.

All is well that ends in pizza.

And now? Their next few months of planning will be....interesting for them.

I hope it's a funny aneurysm!

unrelated, but has anyone heard when the finale is slated to air? i read an article that said april 19th or some such and thought that was odd. since when does a year long show end before may sweeps?

I believe that article actually said April 15th (which is a Sunday). I'm pretty sure it's either a typo or the date they'll complete shooting the season. Last season, I believe they finished shooting in early April. They wouldn't be able to air the finale in mid-April even if the network wanted them to.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Or, they could be ending the season before the merger with WB, to avoid complications. Just a thought.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

i'm pretty sure the merger isn't finalized until september-ish. KeyserSoze is probably right. the entire article was about production. so they probably just got confused.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

So far, so good.

Fanboy Keith = ADORABLE.

Beaver/Mac = aw.

Continuityfest! Corny, Tritons, Madison (with her ever-changing hair) in all her bitchy glory and probably more.

I have no idea where the hell the Logan with the wee jailbait thing is going, but Logan's kind of creepying me out.

Oooh. OK, I didn't see that coming re. the identity of the wee jailbait. Gah, that's underhanded and creepy of Logan, and I kind of dig it. Stay gray, Logan! Stay gray!

Go, Beav!

d00d, Weevil's got hair. What's up with that? Also, vastly amused by Beav's tremendous Boot To The Head for Dick. Well done, young man.
