I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

I think someone replaced my Wednesday with FistofDeathDay crystals.

Or maybe you got my Tuesday.

It took me until I got home to realize I'm really freaking furious about how some stuff is being handled. How I'm being handled. I'm just too wiped to deal with it right now, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kat! B asked me on Monday why I hadn't worn my grumpy pants recently. So yesterday saw the first resurfacing of the crankypants at krav in over a year. They were met with nostalgic welcome, suspicion, and envy.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh god, I still want some of those. My crafty skills may be lacking though.

They were met with nostalgic welcome, suspicion, and envy.

Ahhhh... excellent. Just the reaction one would hope for.

No, no, Tuesday was far worse. Tuesday was a full-out flustercuck HULK SMASH kind of day. I was at work until after 9.

Today is more of a normal 'other people screw up and it's my fault because I'm not psychic' day. Except for the part where my boss is on vacation and we just had a massive email migration. That isn't helping.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Except for the part where my boss is on vacation

Your boss is on vacation AND your coworker is on vacation? No, wait, he's back today, isn't he?

My work people are driving me insane. Like, I want to shake them and make them speak comprehensible English.

Someone several cubes over has dismantled a FedEx box and taped it over his A/C vent. I sympathize, because it's fucking freezing in here, but isn't that just going to force more air out of other vents like mine?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, should I have a turkey sandwich or a beef patty for lunch?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's no question, Jesse. Curry goat or beef patty -- that's a question.
