Dana funny.

Sorry, ita, I don't want to be any older. But I'd be happy for it to happen as an early birthday present.

Dana made me chortle.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Is that movie ever coming out? This is the problem with following entertainment news -- I started thinking about that movie at least when they filmed it, if not when they cast it. It's been SO LONG.

I'm kind of annoyed that they haven't rereleased the book, what with the movie and all. Or at least, in the year or so I've been sporadically checking the bookstores around me, it has yet to make an appearance.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay -- I need to check the library system for The Constant Gardener and Brokeback Mountain, it seems.

Movies are hard work.

But I'd be happy for it to happen as an early birthday present.

Hmmph. Okay.

Oh, that'd be great, Sara! There's a copy of the Proulx I can get right away, but I'd be third in line for the Carre.

I don't think I have that one batting around....

For some odd reason, I have 2 copies of CGardner. I'll send you the one I didn't spill a drink on.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Has anyone posted a link to freakishly realistic baby dolls recently?

Apparantly having a penis gives you an advantage if you're a doll, as Charlie got the awards, not his twin sister Katie.
