Country-style paté.

Potted meat product, whether or not one feels it deserves to be called meat, usually is smooth-textured, a pâté maison as opposed to coarse-textured country-style pâtés (pâté de campagne).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

you taking ballroom dance classes with someone? AWESOME.

I think the word you're looking for is UNLIKELY.

And then some.

I'm looking for something to address the sad lack of Mary Janes in the Aerosoles line.

Sometimes shoe shopping is just shoe shopping.

Vienna sausage will never enter our house. Hubby's Dad was in the Navy during Vietnam, and they were getting ready to come back to the States for some leave. Problem was, the ship's stores hadn't been replenished yet, and all that was there was Vienna sausage. Nobody wanted to wait the extra two weeks for restocking, so they decided to just leave and stop at Honolulu for supplies. After crossing the Pacific in a Navy ship that was no one's idea of a speedster and eating only Vienna sausage, FIL was never able to even think of eating the things again. I think Hubby avoids them in his father's honor.

I have drunk beer brewed in a (clean, never before used) garbage can, though, and it wasn't half bad.

I have this book, and want to try it, but I haven't, in large part because I can't get past the feeling that it will taste like bongwater.

Thrive to spite them

Fishing? Potted meat and vienna sausage.

Dad was all about the Vienna sausages when fishing. Vienna Sausages and crackers. And some canned fruit, maybe.

And Carnation Breakfast bars, I loved those.

Ha! I'm now envisioning Green Stripe beer.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, I actually like pate more than I would have thought, so maybe potted meat that's NOT from the dollar store like the kind I saw most recently would be something I would like.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm suddenly craving vienna sausages.

I haven't had Vienna sausages in forever, so I thought I'd google. I'm just not feeling it, although I have been off most sausages unless grilled to within an inch of their former lives. I don't know why that is. Maybe nitrites.
