So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Buffy and Faith dancing remains my visual of choice for BtVS.

Hottest Moment Ever.

(Until Faith tied Wes up and tortured him, and before Wes tortured the chica for information while Faith watched. Come to think of it, it's the only Hot Moment on my list that doesn't involve torture. Hmm.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That may be a "Hmm" to you, missy, but I think the rest of us have already made note of your prediliction.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Buffy and Faith dancing (and to Curve no less!) is the absolute hottest moment. Also Faith drawing the heart with the stake in it on the classroom window.

I didn't get it the first time, but when Buffy sings "I live in hell, cuz I've been expelled, from heaven" in OMWF, the camera shifts on all the characters' faces, and Willow's horrified expression is truly heartbreaking.

Yeah, Aly did a great job of selling that. Of course, I don't think there's another actress in the world that does CryFace so well with so many subtle variations.

O, yeah. I wish there'd been a little more follow up on that. They did well with TR, but then it was like it never happened.

"I like the quiet."

"Close your eyes."

"Mom. Mom. Mommy?"

"I'd like to test that theory."

Spike breaks down crying at the end of The Gift

Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. And yep.

And also the whole "I love crayon-breaky Willow, and scary-veiny Willow."

Every last one of those six moments shatters me in one way or another just thinking about them now.

As Joss says on the S1 commentaries, "And here's Allyson "King of Pain" Hannigan."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hmmm. Hottest moment chemistry-wise would probably be the kiss at the end of "Angel" where Buffy's crucifix burns into the former's chest. Almost did the same to my picture tube.

Hottest visual from a solely prurient perspective would be the last 10 seconds of "Faith, Hope, & Trick."

I think my favorite visual was Buffy and Faith dancing at the Bronze, too.

Although it receives healthy competition from Willow and Tara all tarted up in Xander's dream in Restless. I was very upset that they cut away from that scene.
