So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'd watch that show with Urkel again over AYW.

Word.

While eating Urkel-Os.

I think it's a matter of personal investment. Back in its first couple of seasons I was pretty rabid about Friends (before Buffy showed me the true meaning of obsessive fandom), but by the time it got really bad my love for it was but a distant memory and changing the channel came easy.

With Angel (and Seasons 5 & 7 of Buffy before it) I'm still in the "Baby, how can you do this to me?" phase of the relationship.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Which one is As You Were?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm still in the "Baby, how can you do this to me?" phase of the relationship.

Or "Baby, you're still pretty, but you ain't as smart as you seemed...."

Ann, that's a ferret.

Which one is As You Were?

The Return of Riley. A masterpiece compared to "Doublemeat Palace."

I liked "She," so pretty and fun carry a lot more weight than smart for me. It's the fun going away that I have trouble getting past.

Man, I'm watching all the OC I hadn't had time to watch, and remembering the whole first flush of love thing.

I miss the infatuation stage with the Buffyverse.

And I kind of liked Doublemeat Palace.
