"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Oh come, on. Dick and Sally were so doing it.

His name was the dead giveaway.

There's a funny line in a slashfic where one character (Lex) is apologizing to the other (Clark) for coming on to him. Clark says "We already had the 'why Tommy likes both Dick and Jane' talk", we just weren't expecting the Dick to be you.l

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Just wondering, but which area of the world are Peruvian Squirrel pimps indigenous to?

Sang Sacre of course.

I know why I am not as excited for the Angel premiere as I should be.

Because I *want* new Buffy.

I can't even.

I think of myself many years from now, dozing in a lounge chair, with Wheel of Fortune on in the background, when suddenly I'll think of Buffy and realize that I haven't thought of Buffy in days or weeks.

But I don't believe it.

Always Anti-fascist!

Buffistas don't watch the Wheel, John. Otherwise, right there with ya.

I definitely don't, but I had to think of something that my old decrepit, Buffy-forgetting self might watch, and Free Spin was it. Even so, I couldn't make myself buy that delusion.

All is well that ends in pizza.

My review of Buffy Season 8, episode 2.

Hmmm, looks like they won't be hearing about Spike this ep, but the whole mysterious stranger watching them was sooo creepy.

And when he turned out at the end to be Patrick Warburton? I yelled "Spooooon!"

The scene where Xander suddenly left after the argument with Giles and we saw him later, flashing back on talking to Anya's gravestone? (ETA: Forgot they were in Europe) It makes me think he is going to go dark this season. Certainly the part where he said he feels dead inside.

Willow didn't have much to do this ep. except for the big scene with Warburton.

More Dawn and Faith training is good, but the whole Dawn, Faith and Buffy go shopping montage was the happiest I've seen all of them in a long Long time.

Since They didn't have Warburton give his name, can he be Johnny Johnson like on News Radio?

I did notice the Wolfram and Hart logo on his day planner. I half expected them to show him writing "Thursday, October 3, try and Take Over the World!"

I hope Warburton is evil. I can't stress this enough.

And the watchers Giles is training? the little weasily guy has to die, but I feel the snarkers need to be encouraged, and the rest? All need a dose of reality. That locked room to the side? Vampires?

Almost half the watchers are women! Coolness.

Best line of the night? "Spare me the "there's evil in the world' speech, gramps." and giles response of tossing him the videotape and volunteering the guy for "field work." over the weekend.

Liked the redheaded watcher girl, but I think Willow and her liked each other a bit.

Yep. Spike news next week.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I love Daniel.

Disaffected college student

Buffistas don't watch the Wheel, John.

Which membership card must I turn in, then?

(Is loving the game shows)

If it helps, I watch Wheel (and Jeopardy!) hoping for ME-related material to show up. "BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER" was a puzzle last year, I think.
