Up with the sun

I think it was announced, than de-announced, and now it's being re-announced. I didn't preorder when it was first announced, so I'm not sure what their original release date was.

If I hit you on the head, will you have a vision?

Are we still on Faith, Hope, and Trick? If so, I get to confess how passionately I hated the character of Faith the first time I saw this. I only got sucked in by chancing upon Becoming Part II. As in, I-don’t-even-know-these-characters-and-am-sniffling-my-heart-up-my-esophagus sucked in. Then, next episode I caught, suddenly there’s this new Extra!Super!Cool!character, and I feared the show I wanted to love was already in Oliver-stage. I didn’t get over my resentment until she ate Andrew’s last Hot Pocket.

So...what was the non-ridiculously-biased feel for the girl in that episode?

Aside: I got through the entire thread!! Go me!

So for you, Faith=Poochie. At least at the time. Heh. I remember there was not a small bit of Faith-hate on the TT boards.

Anyone know/remember how she went over at the Bronze?

One eye out for highway danger, the other out for fruit. - fr. Martin Mull's Truckdrivin' Songs for the Eight Basic Food Groups

I loved her from the get-go. I identify more with Faith than any other character on the show. From the very first episode ED totally nailed the whole "I have to out-cool, out-smart, out-strong,out-sexy everyone so they're too flummoxed to realize what a terrified little loser I actually am" thing. That was me throughout HS. Jon B may be able to verify this, although he was more secure than I and hung out with a far less self-destructive crowd.

So for you, Faith=Poochie.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Anyone know/remember how she went over at the Bronze?

What was the airdate? I can't remember, but could look it up.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Speaking of S5, I'm about to preorder, anyone want me to share the love?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oooh, sharing the love would be splendid. cass (underscore) 404 (at) yahoo (dot) com

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I got the general feeling that Faith was considered to be too self-consciously tough in S3, and the real Faith love didn't start to bloom until her return in S4. Then it had a nice retroactive glow which went back over the earlier episodes. Of course, that's a pretty subjective take on a general board-wide vibe.
