I really, really want to see that movie. And not simply because I adore Seth Green--I want to see him play an out-of-character part, and I want to see how they've made the film.

New Seth Green movie, Party Monster
It's playing at the Castro here next week. I will definitely be checking it out.
I remember being disturbed by some cable documentary about the real-life case that story is based on.
I'm seriously curious how McCauley is going to be. I remember reading about the case back when it was big news in the Village Voice. Insane stuff going down. A more egalitarian club scene than the Studio 54 era (in that you didn't need to be that rich or beautiful) but twice as nasty in the junior high school sense from the sounds of it.
I'm interested in McCauley too--from the reviews of his London show, it sounds like he's really grown up as an actor, and I want to see for myself.

Cool. (Though Beneath You remains my favorite season 7 episode.)
Huh.
Has the show won a Hugo in previous years?
No, I don't think so.
Went and looked it up: Once More, With Feeling was nominated last year, but lost to FotR. The split out into short and long-form dramatic presentation appears to be new.
