Buffy: Dancing with you is way better than trying to hook up with some good-looking guy. Xander: I think I liked it more when you were kicking me in my puffy groin.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

"Conversations With Dead People" won the 2003 Hugo Award for best short presentation.

"You got twelve, and they got twelve. The old ladies are just as good as you are." -Dr. Einstein

Conversations With Dead People" won the 2003 Hugo Award for best short presentation.

Cool. (Though Beneath You remains my favorite season 7 episode.)

Has the show won a Hugo in previous years?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

No, I don't think so.

Went and looked it up: Once More, With Feeling was nominated last year, but lost to FotR. The split out into short and long-form dramatic presentation appears to be new.

Drew Goddard won (part of) a Hugo.

Huh.

(You read "Hugo" enough and it starts to look like Yugo, and that's just too silly.)

Diablo Robotico Up.

Hey everybody, hope y'all enjoying Labor Day. Yours truly turns 25 today.

Anyway, last night I finally had the time to sit down and watch an episode of A&E's new series MI-5. I like it a lot. Plus, this episode had Anthony Stewart Head in a guest starring role as a double agent penetrating an anarchist front. It's a very haunting role, and Head was excellent in the role. The character had a mix of hardened cynicism and sincere feeling. Kudos to see he's getting good work.

"God...my brilliance is now becoming a bit of a burden...get back to me." Dr. Cox - Scrubs

Twas a very good episode. I didn't get hooked on MI-5 right away. It was the deep fryed hand, then face, then bullet that showed me this show wasn't gonna hold back..

Man they are promoting Eliza's new show "Tru Calling" on FOX alot today on FX during the "24" Marathon. I have seen the pilot and it isn't nearly as good as it should be. Although the commercials make it seem much more intense and exciting than it was when I watched it. Odd.

Yours truly turns 25 today.

Caulfield: What did you want to be when you grew up?

Frazz: Twenty-five.

Caulfield: Oh, real ambitious.

Frazz: Hey, it's not that easy. I was only able to sustain it for twelve months.

(I turned 26 in August.)

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That's funny-- I have been able to sustain 25 for about 5 years now...
