Timelies all.
Monday it was cold, rainy and windy in CT. There was a tent set up at the gravesite, but I still got rain blown in my face. I was also the only one wearing a dress. The service was nice but sad. Saw my cousins who I hadn’t seen in a very long time
Last night we flew down to Florida. This morning was the memorial service, followed by brunch at my dad’s house. Shiva was at 7 this evening.
Oh, Sheryl. You and your family are so much in my thoughts. May there be comfort and good stories for you.
Completely failing to respond to the thread so far in my rush to complain that my boss wants me to watch an hour long video of a someone we might hire as a contractor working through a an exercise and give him (my boss) feedback and every part of that makes me recoil with DO NOT WANT (besides the part where we might hire someone because we have too much work and not enough people so someone else on the team would be great). I'll do it, but I have to complain somewhere
Unrelatedly, we have a blue square griddle whose description uin the ERP is "sq shllw grdl agave" and I always want to read it as "shallow grave"
I always want to read it as "shallow grave"
One of the Midnight Burger side projects, Welcome to the Horizon (which is awesome) is abbreviated WTTH, and I always read it as Welcome to the Hellmouth, because BTVS got in my brain first and now there's no room for a different reading of that abbreviation.
Yeah, no getting away from that. It looks like I will be running into "subscribers only" episodes of Midnight Burger before too long. btw, so I guess I will have to figure out how to subscribe. There are multiple options and that is confusing! But probably if I just accept that I am already ensconced in the Podcasts app and go with that it will be fine.

I'm pretty sure the subscriber-only episodes are on YouTube, so you might want to check there first.
Thanks for the tip! I always forget about YouTube. I watch Josh Johnson on it every week but I forget about everything else
I've explored a bit over in their Patreon -- they have quite the community! And a devoted fan base. And interactive creators. And a listen-and-post Discord... server, space, whatever they're called... It's a whole-ass fandom, with message boards and meet-ups, etc. I don't quite have the oomph to immerse myself, but it is pleasant to see. I think they had their first "Burger Con" in Chicago this year. Good times! May they have the good fortune to stay cool, fun, and drama free.
