You could never strike me as holier-than-thou, Nilly, though I wish we got more chances to post together and things like that. Sometimes, it barely seems possible how long it's been since our little coffee date, but the fact that you have teens who weren't even twinkles in your eye when we did that makes that a fiction.

In what even is this world news: we do business with BJ's Wholesale but we haven't sole them anything in a while so I was wondering if they were one of our customers who had gone bankrupt. With some nervousness I googled (ducked, I suppose, although I like generifying google) for news which somehow got me to Cardi B and Nicki Minaj's latest twitter beef as reported by Realtor.com because, apparently, they both have invested heavily in, like, big houses?

So that's a thing I know now. I doubt it will last long in my brain, but I felt I had to share.

I'm with Trudy on this -- I've been on the outside/goyisch fringes of Jewish communities all my life, and have absorbed some "culturally Jewish" behaviour by osmosis; this has largely been inadvertent (and I have not seriously considered converting) but my life has been enriched by my friends and those communities, so I hope it comes across as appreciation and not appropriation.

As I said in a journal entry a while back, "Not everyone I recognize as one of My People recognizes me as one of theirs. And that's all right."
