I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That actually sounds like a good response rate!

And askye I hope you are able to tweak the recipe to make it work because "caramelized onion and lentil croquettes" sounds delicious

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Onerous tasks achieved today:

Long-ass article edited
Batch of copycat Starbuck's egg bites made
Sink full of dishes washed
Load of clothes washed, dried, and put away
Toilet scrubbed
Bathroom sink scoured

This evening I will watch Monday Night Football without any guilt that I should be accomplishing something. (Not that I expect the Bengals to do shit, but hey.)

And Zepbound shot #8 is tonight. The GI side effects seem to be under control (knock on wood).

Week 4 of cancer treatment started this morning — almost halfway through! Tim's voice is getting kind of raspy, which was a thing we knew might happen.

You are knocking the onerousness out of the park, Tep!

Go onerosity! I managed to make an appointment to get my windshield replaced, but they don’t do home visits. So I made an appointment for Saturday morning. Booo.

Thrive to spite them

That is a lot of tasks done Tep!

-t I found the recipe online. Actually I found several websites that had the recipe verbatim but made it sound like they had written it. But I did find one that correctly attributed it and it's here [link]

After reading a few different recipes I think I figured out another issue ...I over processed the lentils. I found a recipe that warned not to let it get to a pureed form which I let it get that far.

Also the cookbook suggested serving these with tomato chutney or ketchup. But M ended up using Green Goddess dressing and also put them in a pita like a faux falafel sandwich

Chemo treatment #4 (of 7) is over, so Tim is officially more than halfway done with chemo! The current new plan for his BP getting so low on weekends is that on Friday morning after his radiation, he'll get a bag of IV fluids, and that volume boost should help his BP stay normal. Fingers crossed!

Yay for more than halfway through and for liquid boosts!

Almost there!

IV fluids are the way go. I know a guy who is an EMT who - as a favor - would swing by the house of any of his Nurse friends with dire hangovers and give them a quick bag of saline.
