My mom's health is much worse than I knew. Her kidneys are failing. She's likely to go into hospice care. I'm flying down on Friday to visit her.

CVS's online service let me schedule Covid shots for all three of us (I ticked the box that said "Yes I'm eligible" and there were no follow-up questions) so fingers crossed that's the last hurdle and I can get vaccinated on Saturday.
