I'm at Mom's and Dad called and was talking about various family members on his side and some of his health stuff and that's how I found out he has squamous cell carcinoma on his skin and he is getting it removed Wed. That's literally all I know. He is doing that instead of radiation treatment.

Gorgeous summery September morning in San Francisco, and I'm back to Pilates after a couple weeks of abbreviated schedules (for Labor Day Weekend and my visiting friend).

I'm very sweaty and sore but it was a good workout. All the pre-cleaning I did for my visitor has rendered my house less disastrous, but I'm overdue on cleaning the guinea pig cage and now I have flies because of it.

We're on #2 now, so I have an appt. with my doc this week so she can try to get pre-auth from Cigna. But, I do qualify (on paper, anyway) for Lily's self-pay, very steep discount for Zepbound if it comes to that, so I'm maintaining hope!
