I'm also picking up what I call "the unicorn of my dreams"
That is a glorious unicorn! At my therapist's office, if you go down the hall past her office there's a nook with shelves and it's full of unicorns. I'll take a picture today.
Tim is at chemo* and I am at home trying to eat a quick lunch before I leave for therapy in 20 minutes. Then back to the hospital to collect Tim. Starting next week, his chemo is on Tuesdays, so I won't have to leave in the middle for therapy and then come back. It's only 2 miles back and forth between the hospital and my therapist's office, but it's annoying to go out and back. Also my hip hurts after PT yesterday, and even with the cane to shore me up, all this running around is a bit much.
*While we were there, someone rang the bell signalling that they were done with their chemotherapy regimen, everyone clapped and cheered, and I cried. It's that kind of day.
Go Tim!! The friend I’m on this trip we were originally supposed to go in January but she got cancer and was getting chemo then. She’s doing good now! May Tim do just as well.
Have arrived in Chiang Mai—our place here is not nearly as cute or nice as the one we had in Seoul sadly. I’m wishing we’d got a hotel instead.
That is an awesome unicorn.
Oh, totally. I'm toning down collecting--no space, as I said, or I might be all about having one.
I posted some pictures of my mini unicorns and horses on FB.
In nom unicorn news. Charlie Kirk was assassinated. He shouldn't have been murdered. But I'm not sad he is dead. I'm sad and concerned about violence that may happen because of this but I can't be sad that man is no longer alive.
Happiest of happy birthday wishes to Trudy Booth! I hope you are spoiling yourself this day and that the year to come is filled with all the things you love in life.
I am now in Thailand and feeling much more disconnected. I was sorta point person for Korea for this trip and did not do really any Thailand research. But we already got our first massages today…about $6.50 for an hour long massage.
I can't remember her board name, but Nichola would have great Thailand suggestions. I do remember her saying Thai food is all amazing.
Happy, Happy Birthday, Trudy! I hope you enjoy the day and many good things in the coming year.
I'm still living vicariously through you, meara!
I had a dentist appointment this morning and got a temporary filling on the broken tooth. Then I came home to eat breakfast, and now I am about to head back out for PT. After that I'll stop at Trader Joe's and CVS and get gas on the way home. Then a haircut at 6:30. I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow, where I don't have to leave the house and all I have to do is work.
