Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

The status is NOT quo.

Hi Karl! Good to see you.

And hey, meara, turns out you’re right! It took me forever to track down the official list, but apparently the FDA pointed to this CDC one, and depression is on it. Huh. Thanks, depression?

My code isn’t working above, so here’s the link if anyone wants it: [link]

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Obesity is also on the official CDC list of risk factors so yay me, I also qualify.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ex-smoker too, so I have no qualms about it. As you say, there is no actual shortage, just an abundance of dumbfuckery.

Always Anti-fascist!

Aw, a Karl sighting is always nice for my spirits(and, you know, a few points south, but maybe I'll stop before I open Bitches) You know times are tough when you can't really celebrate not-cancer, or at least, it doesn't lighten your load a ton.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett came over today and helped me with all the tasks that required someone to be on a ladder or two people to carry stuff to the attic.

I took him to lunch and we stopped at a small dogpark, and we talked about life and death, and Jacqueline. And as we talked we watched a hummingbird hovering over the bushes nearby.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

and we talked about life and death, and Jacqueline.

I miss her so much. Of course it's nothing like the way you and Matilda and Emmett miss her, but it's a ragged hole in my heart.
