"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Well done, Brendon! That's the kind of respect you earn by doing the work out of love for years.

A good friend had that exact procedure and I gave him a button for the Semi-Colon Appreciation Society. He loved it.

Badumpbump! Heh!

Our wings are not tired.

In a blast from the past Buffista birthday news, today is Scrappy's birthday.

The status is NOT quo.

Welp, glad I got my MMR titers checked. Despite having the initial vaccine as a kid and a booster in my 20s or 30s, I no longer have immunity. I’ll be getting that and a tetanus shot today. Whee?

Yikes! Glad you did, too. Reminds me to ask my doctor about that tomorrow.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I should probably check on my titers.

There's a brief period in the morning where I can sit in the window seat and the sun is pouring down on my back and warming me, but my laptop is still in the shade instead of a blinding glare.

That period is right now.

And for the first time all summer we've had blue skies for three days in a row, and it's going to be a scalding hot 70 degrees today.
