I do that first every morning and don’t move onto the other puzzles until I get there.
I do the Spelling Bee last, because I know it's going to take the longest, and the others (Wordle, Mini Crossword, Letter Boxed) are just like warmup.

The house just passed the bill. It's heading to Trump's desk.
I'm obsessed with getting to Genius. (Which is definitely not to say that I always do!)
I feel like as long as I get to amazing sometime during the day, and find the pangram, I’m happy. Don’t have to get genius (though it’s great when I do)

It was going to happen, but that doesn't make it any easier to accept.
and find the pangram
It's kind of surprising how often I can hit Genius without getting the pangram(s).

There is not one single part of me that wants to celebrate July 4th this year. I'm going to our neighborhood's parade specifically because it's about our neighborhood and not about this fascist hellscape of a government.
So many people are going to be hurt by this bill. It's unfathomable.
I want to throw up.
I also do Spelling Bee last, and if I get the pangram that is usually enough for me. And if I just find a couple of words and don't find the pangram that often has to do. I can't do it while I'm listening to an audiobook, but I can pop into it for a few minutes at a time while I wait for a report to load or something. I'm gratified when I reach Genius, but if I don't I don't mind.
I can't wrap my mind around the current political reality right now. Maybe I will look for something to do in the company of like-minded people tomorrow....
Now I feel bad about joking about that fire seeing as people died in it.
….
Happy birthday, sj!!!
And I also do my other puzzles before the Bee (aka my “chorin’”). Bob and I both do the Bee throughout the day and then combine forces after we each reach Genius (which happens most but not all days) and then try to get to QB together. We usually give up if we’ve gone through all the words we’ve each gotten and there are still 5+ words to QB.
I do Tiles when its pretty, but they could use some variety.
I never like going out in July around here, but, yeah, nothing to celebrate. Was hoping that Helen Keller gave an Independence Day barn-burner or something, since it feels vaguely appropriating to use Frederick Douglass' slavery one, no matter that I feel...unfree. But if she did, it got lost in the blizzard of inspiration(But she's like Martin Luther King, in that people only like focusing on certain parts of all that. I was at an event last night where I was reminded that PDA's founder Tim Carpenter was a disabled person.(He died right before I got involved, I think.) Funny how if you, idk, ride the border of "chronic condition" for long enough, people tend not to talk about you that way, but he was homebound for half of high school--that counts, where I come from. Not that I'm recruiting. Especially not the departed. I hope to help tie "Well, we all die," so tightly around Joni Ernst's neck that she can't get a deep breath ten years from now. But you already know I flunked both "Such a great attitude!1" and most definitely "So spiritual--she asks for so little!1"(one place where I'm proud to fall short of expectations) Maybe we'll see how good I am at Taking Them Down With Me, though I did have more personal plans for myself at one time, which absolutely feel like even SS. No Chance In Hell has left me in its wake and shit.
