I stopped doing Connections a while ago. It did not spark joy. I love Letter Boxed, though, and nobody ever talks about it.

only got wordle on try 6 after trying two things I knew couldn’t be the answer because I could t figure out any words that fit!

Ha! I got the Wordle on 6 because apparently you can spell more than one word with those letters, and I only guessed the correct word on try #6.

I was on top of Connections today although I only got purple because it was the last four left. Wordle was tough, I had an all yellow 2nd guess and took quite a while working out how to rearrange that into the actual answer

The power went out here -- as I came home from therapy at 2-ish I saw the power company's truck at the top of the street, where there is a VERY damaged electric pole. And I thought "Yikes, I'm glad they're fixing that!" But I didn't realize it would mean our power would have to go out. The washing machine was right in the middle of a load of towels, dang it.

If you look at the outage map (I posted a picture on FB), out house is literally right on the border of the area with the outage. We were so close to not losing power! [crying emoji] At least it's MUCH less humid here today, so it shouldn't get too bad in the house. And my laptop has 100% battery, so I have no excuse not to work.

Was your all-yellow guess the word "runic," by any chance? I guessed that before I guessed the real word. In retrospect it's a weird choice, but it's what popped into my undercaffeinated brain.

Wordle in 4 today, haven't tried Connections yet.

Wordle I get very worked up about. I got to 138 once. After that I switched to picking a start word from the Mini and have never even broken a hundred again.

Connections I play, but I'm not all that emotionally invested.

My nails are vermilion with a green to gold shimmer topper. The topper makes the polish beneath look more to orange side of things than the red side of things. I expect that this Bee's Knees lacquer is going to look awfully similar when it arrives next week. [link]

The Bee dictionary has some noticeable gaps, but they have updated it to include some things that got a lot of pushback.

I managed Wordle in 4 today, but found the letter box challenging. Had to restart.

I blew any streaks on the drive north because I was just too tired to get on a computer after driving all day.
