Def hoping Brenda’s keys have gotten there already and she is on the way!!

Epic that sucks a lot! I’m so sorry. I’m glad you didn’t hurt yourself further though—I was afraid that story was going to end with “and so I broke a bone”!

Oh, Epic, that sucks -- I'm sorry you had to deal with all of that. I'm glad your neighbors were able to help. Be kind to yourself as you heal up.

Hope the keys get there in time to make dinner, Brenda!

Quiet and hot day here. Yep. That's all I've got.

I hope you get better quickly, msbelle.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I was afraid that story was going to end with “and so I broke a bone”!

You're right - silver lining! Other than a tiny aforementioned break to the skin of my elbow, still fully intact! (Or at least as intact as I was at the start of the trip!)

Thrive to spite them

Oh Epic I'm glad you are ok but that sounds so frustrating.

Endoscopy is over. The Dr took some biopsies and said he thinks I have silent reflux and if he mentioned anything else I don't remember and M doesn't. If I have to do any other procedure where I have to go under anesthesia I'm going to ask if I can record what they tell me after because M gets focused on me and he gets anxious so he just doesn't remember. I think the Dr mentioned Barrett's esophagus but I'm not sure. It will take a week to get the results. In the mean time he prescribed a different type of antacid than I was taking before . And I have a follow appointment in a month

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That's so frustrating, Epic.

Oh, Epic, that's rough. Bodies springing surprises like that, no fun.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Belated Birthday, Steph!

There is definitely something wrong when it is cooler where my parents are in FL than it is here in the DC area. Temperatures around 100, and humidity so high that it feels like trying to breathe soup out side. Luckily AC in my house and in my car work.

Aw, man. I saw a notice about a "Dutch Brothers Development" in my city and tried look it up, which I was unable to do, I still don't know what that means. But I stumbled across a map of approved developments in the city and there are many that I had no idea about! A lot of green space getting built over. Which I am a little bummed about, especially the green spaces that I regularly walk passed and enjoy, but we do need more housing and warehouses are at least potentially employers, so I am willing to tamp that down for the greater good (it's not ALL the green space, after all) BUT there's a "warehouse/logistics building space" on a field that I have watched fill with water every spring for the last 13 years, thinking with satisfaction that no one in their right mind will build there because obviously it will flood. Those vernal pools fading into fields full of purple flowers gave me a lot of joy. So that's depressing.
