Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is great news, dcp!

Congrats, meara!

I'm sure I had other things, but I forget. TGIF, man.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Many wishes for continued good numbers and great happiness, dcp. I'm so very glad you're here.

Our wings are not tired.

I am proud to continue to push the survival stats higher.

Well done! My sister had a part of her lung removed over 25 years ago and is down to yearly tests and scans now, but it still brings anxiety every time she has a test. No changes results are celebrated every time.

Thrive to spite them

Next Wednesday I can finally start adding foods back from this elimination diet and I'm so glad

I swear I've been more spacy and forgetful since I've been on it. But it's probably from all the stuff I'm depriving myself. I know I went on the extreme end of this because my stomach kept hurting and I got conflicting info from different sources.

It seems to be working so I just have to figure out the problem foods. And I have an endoscopy on June 24th.

My birthday is the 16th so I'm hoping I'll at least have figured out if dairy is an issue or gluten so I can have some kind of treat to celebrate.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Woohoo, dcp!

I'm attending the SFWA Nebula Conference online this weekend, and it's serving as a sort of useful kick in the pants for making me think whether I still really want to be a writer (yes) and what I need to do to make that an active reality again (go back to treating writing as a side hustle like I used to before the Great Burnout of 2015-16, only with more self-care to prevent repeat burnout, and find a new critique group so I can share my work with people regularly because a big and needed part of my motivation is to feel like I'm telling a story TO somebody).
