Another anniversary day and a reminder of how old we are! Today, in 1997, was the opening day of the first Buffista board. Our love forever, ita.
Thank you, ita! And thank you, Gud, and all the others who built the fine ship HMS B.org that we sail upon.
Blue sky morning and I had all the berries on my raisin bran this morning. But a small bowl because I have 9am Pilates and all that hinging at the waist is hard on a full stomach.
As I completed all my puzzles this morning, I found no streaks, because I somehow managed to forget to do them all yesterday. So much for the puzzles improving memory. Oh well. One day streaks all round.
Awww yay board. 1997! My goodness we are old.
I do not want to work today. Last night I got home and suddenly my nose was going like crazy. I ended up taking some Sudafed, which helped me breathe but did not help me sleep last night. Grr. (I think what I actually need is to go get some anti-allergy meds)
I'm so sorry to read about Todd. Thank you, Vortex, and a great big hug to all of you. I love y'all.
I am also in the do not want to work today corner. Alas I am sitting on a laptop in a mini-golf construction sight configuring network devices.
Also do not wanna!
I asked about a pay thing at work that I should get, but asking for money is hard and it was awkward. Still I did it and should get it and I think it will cover work I need done on my car.
I am tired of deploying my disappointing talent for cussing people out without actually cussing...it is a gift, but also a booby prize.(Not as tired as I am of having people hear me curse and think it is the first time for I'm a Broken Hummel Figurine Under Duress, but that didn't come up in my weekly visit with my representative's voice mail. Still, gets old.)
Go, you, msbelle!
Wow, 1997! I haven't had the privilege for that long, but that is amazing. I wish I knew what year I started lurking. And how I got here. I think there was a link in some article or blog or something, but I just can't remember specifics. I know I started posting during the Quote-off. Man, that was fun!
Allergy ~ma to meara and configuration ~ma to ND.

Ahhh, the quote deathmatch! I used to put a lot of energy into doing those.
We even had a phrase for when a quote lost because I ran a match during some time zone's lunch lull. I think we used Principle Snyder's "spazzed."
Like, "That quote got spazzed because Halifax was all out to lunch!"
We made our own fun.
I am supposed to present an award in a few hours so I'm trying to jot down some notes. I'm hoping some loose bullet points will give me a coherent enough through-line without resorting to reading a speech. Public speaking is very much not my wheelhouse.
