Sophia, my niece was bald as a cue ball, and a high school teacher, so she wore a collection of scarves and knit caps in her snowy part of NY. Around family and friends she didn't. When I left a week ago to go south she had regrown to about a half inch, so of course we were all petting her head. (she had no objection as she was loving it)
Alas, Republicans held onto their highest offices in my state, so we get to enjoy 2+ more years of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Tom Cotton, and Rick Crawford in power. But as a silver lining we did flip 10 House seats and break their supermajority in the state legislature
Same same here in Florida. Loved that the gerrymandering failed and Dems took the absurdly drawn new districts. We broke the supermajority at the state level, but I still expect significant shenanigans.
I am over the moon about Ohio, where a number of my loved ones live. Texas!!! Georgia!!! Michigan!!! OMG, Mississippi!!! Too Big to Rig!
My joy is only tempered by the notion that Schumer will be too wimpy and let hideous judges get confirmed. I hope he will do better. I want to send him a 'what would Mitch do' handbook.
