Alas, Republicans held onto their highest offices in my state, so we get to enjoy 2+ more years of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Tom Cotton, and Rick Crawford in power. But as a silver lining we did flip 10 House seats and break their supermajority in the state legislature, including a candidate I've campaigned for (Erika Askeland, a schoolteacher and library supporter) unseating a 6-term incumbent in my district.

Also, though the candidate I supported for Circuit Judge didn't win, at least the winner is unlikely to go on a drunken rampage in his underwear and assault teenage girls like the currently sitting judge did.

I've been giving Hinojosa money for months because Abbott makes "my people" look bad. return on investment, baby. Also, Beto's PAC and Stacey Abrams' one Josh Turek should be a better example, though he won at basketball in the Paralympics, so he is kind of "results not typical" as well, really.
