You know, my big sister could really beat the crap out of her. I mean, really really.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I went to the gym to meet a trainer who was scheduled to show me the right way to do upper body work. I’m at an age where concerns about my rotator cuff trump my innate “I’ll figure it out” impulses. Unfortunately, she called in sick at the last minute so I went ahead and figured it out. No pain beyond “hey, it’s been five years since you hit the gym” pain. Which I expected. Them I picked up the cat’s meds, voted (long lines), and treated myself to a fancy coffee. I’ve started Salty Pirates, so I did today’s task plus a buffer task.

On the whole, a day well spent.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Fanfiction.net is still working if you're desperate.

Ah ha ha hah ha. No. The Pit is not a place I need to be right now.

My dead wife (AO3) will return to me.

Not calm about election stuff. But I did vote as if Trump was on the ballot just like he requested.

Thrive to spite them

We went to the DMV, got blood drawn (for my HRT test finally and M's medical re evaluation thing) and voted.

AND -- the race between Graham and Andrews is too close to call! 56% of SC registered voters actually voted the most in 30 years.

I still can't believe there were people thinking Trump was going to be on the ballot
