Looks like we sat on the tarmac before taking off long enough that I’ll only have 14 minutes to make my connection in Dallas. Or maybe -4 minutes? Exciting! If I get moved to a later flight it makes no difference to anyone, I don’t have plans for this evening or anything, so I’m just interested to see how this works.
Oh, in a different terminal, even.
If I rebook I can’t keep my first class upgrade, apparently. That’s disappointing, I was looking forward to that.

Better than it could have been, Atropa, but still that’s a pretty needless early morning meeting which is an affront to all that is good and just.
I guess this later flight is more popular, first class is completely full. Ythere’s a bar near my new departure gate where I can get a pineapple mimosa and pullled pork tacos, so I’ll be all right.

Having a Rum Reaper instead of the mimosa because I love a specialty drink. Will have to wait for my tacos because the cook had to run an errand? But I have time, and the other closest options are Dickey’s and Whatsburger, both of which I can get at home so that’s no fun
