Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy dappled birthdays for all of you!

I'm up and ingesting coffee and awaiting EM so we can plow through the cancellations on Emmett's old apartment and set up utilities at his new one.

Cool and crisp in SF today, but sunny. My favorite. I need to get some apple cider.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Happy birthdays all around!

Ha ha ha ha ha my job is changing again. It's not a companywide re-org this time, but my little Demand Planning Team is probably going to join up with the maybe even smaller Supply Team and redistribute responsibilities. This is being triggered by a subsidiary that we have been doing planning work for hiring their own person to do both supply and demand planning so we are aiming to make the change on our end the same time they start, which is in three weeks. Possibly this will put me under a different manager, we didn't talk about that aspect.

This too shall pass.

Keeps things from getting boring, -t?

Rainy and cold in Otter Lake. So much to do, all on DH's shoulders, prior to leaving. And I must leave by end of month to get home in time to vote.

Where do you come from? Where do you go? What is your scene, baby? We just gotta know.

So the focus of Kelly Clarkson’s ire, The Art of Play, is right here in my neighborhood! Five blocks away! And given that the store is located in such a remote location, far from any meaningful foot traffic, and also since the owner is such a douchenozzle, even if he might be in the right, I’m assuming that this place must be a money laundering operation!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Debet, is this a new job? If so, congratulations!

Sophia, I hope you’re feeling better. And that you get better than expected news from the biopsy.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yes, new job!

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Yay new job!

Happy Birthday Cashmere!

Happy Birthday megan walker!

Thanks for the birthday wishes, gang!

Happy Birthday, Matt!

Happy Birthday, Cash!

Happy Birthday, megan!

-t, I hope the re-org goes well for you and smoothly overall!

DH and I are going on a mini-vacation to Pittsburgh tomorrow through Saturday. He went to Pitt, so it's his old stomping grounds, and he got a notion that he wanted to show it to me. Cool. I've been in Pittsburgh exactly once, stopping for lunch on a road trip. Should be fun!

Thinking of you, Sophia.
